AUSTIN, Texas — Police are investigating after a student was stabbed to death at a Manor ISD high school on Tuesday.
The stabbing was reported Tuesday afternoon at Manor Senior High School on FM 973.
Details are limited, but the district said two students were involved in an altercation on campus before the stabbing. Austin-Travis County EMS later confirmed a teen was pronounced dead at the scene after unsuccessful resuscitation efforts. According to Manor ISD, a suspect is in custody.
Manor Senior High School closed early Tuesday after the incident. Classes have also been canceled for Wednesday at both Manor Senior High School and Manor Early College High School.
Both Manor police and district police are investigating the deadly stabbing.
