Warning for clients and Potential Clients of Precision K9 in Austin

Hi, Austin. I wanted to share some information about a concern I have with Precision K9’s training practices. Recently, they have been “using [a dog] in training sessions” (direct quote from the office manager), despite his history of severe aggression, including a recent incident where he brutally mauled and killed another dog, who was his housemate of 3 years. There is also an effort to rehome him, despite his dangerous behavior.

I’m sharing this because I believe potential clients should have all the facts before deciding on a training facility. Using a dog with this history in training or housing him onsite with clients dogs, could pose safety risks to clients and other animals, and I would advise anyone considering Precision K9 to ask questions and ensure they’re comfortable with the facility’s approach to handling severely aggressive dogs. This isn’t about attacking Precision K9 but but ensuring that everyone has the information needed to make an informed choice. Please make sure you and your fur babies stay safe.
