Recommendations for taking my daughter to a gun range?

Hi, y’all!

I know bupkis about firearms, but my (grown) daughter who lives out of state wants to take me to a range in town when she’s here over the holidays.

I’ve searched the sub, and the existing recommendations are a little old.

Possibly relevant information: I’m a little fiftysomething book-bag lady and liberal weenie. My daughter is a transgender badass who knows all kinds of stuff about guns but is out of touch with locales since she moved away. Both of us are allergic to condescension and just want to shoot guns without a whole big deal.
