Where one Vanderpump Rules chapter ends, another begins. Vanderpump Rules season 12 is coming with a fresh batch of SURvers and all new drama, leaving longtime fans desperate for answers.
On 26 November, Bravo announced that it was replacing the entire OG VPR cast after 11 seasons and replacing them with a new cast. “With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of coworkers and friends make their way through life together,” said executive producer Alex Baskin in a press release.
If you’re worried that the first generation SURvers are gone too soon, the press release also announced that there will be a retrospective special highlighting all the highs and lows (and very lows) of the first 11 seasons.
But enough about that. Here’s everything we know about the revamped (revanderpamped?) Vanderpump Rules season 12.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 release date
An official release date has not yet been announced, but we do know that production is slated to begin in 2025. If the new season films in the spring and sticks to the normal production schedule, we can probably expect to see season 12 premiere in autumn 2025.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 cast
Like the premiere date, the official cast announcement isn’t expected to drop until sometime in 2025.
Do they all work at SUR?
We are assured that everyone in the new cast works at either SUR or its spinoff bar TomTom — named after Tom Schwartz and Sandoval.
Is anyone from the original Vanderpump Rules cast returning?
Of course, the Grande Dame Lisa Vanderpump herself is returning to the show, but she’s actually not the only one. SUR manager Peter Madrigal was never a main cast member, but he has been a part of the VPR mix since the first season. Seeing as he actually still works at SUR, he’s said on Instagram and Vanderpump podcasts that he will still be featured on Vanderpump Rules season 12.
