We know that by this time of the year, you have been bombarded with gift guides from every place you happen to look – it’s a lot. But as someone who also sees them I do find them really helpful! I also know that the people creating them put a lot of time and care into choosing each item. That’s definitely true for us. We really want these guides to help you find gifts that your loved ones will LOVE! My dad still talks about the sweatpants I bought off of Brian’s gift guide a few years ago and that man is hard to please in the gift category. Fingers crossed this year will be another rave review and another thank you card will be sent to Brian (and Ken). Anyway, since this is kinda THE sale week of the year, we thought we’d round up all the guides we’ve done so far and show you what have been the top sellers. Hopefully, it’s helpful to see what others are picking up if you are stumped. Shall we start with the first guide we posted??
Emily’s gift guides are obviously the most beloved. They are always so fun, so thoughtful, and it’s kinda hard to not want everything. Me included. This year Em wanted to start with her home decor guide that was filled with affordable options (and a few spendy ones). Let’s see what were the top sellers.
Juju’s Garden Button-Up Top | Holly Cushion Cover | Schoolhouse x Pendleton® Canebrake Wool Blanket
Plot twist! The blouse Emily was wearing in the shoot was the actual top seller. This probably shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s beautiful, great for most seasons, and from such a wonderful brand, Farm Rio. Next up was that incredible velvet pillow. Even I’ve thought about getting it but I keep reminding myself that I can’t always copy Em:) Then followed that Schoolhouse x Pendleton blanket that we too can’t get enough of. Did you also see it in Kailtin’s living room reveal? What a special gift!
Wavy Shade Collection with Ceramic Base Table Lamp | Stallion on Canvas Board | Marble Dish
For some more affordable and beloved gifts, that lamp is such a winner (to which many of you agreed). If I got that as a gift I would be overwhelmed in the best way. It’s such a cool versatile lamp. Art is another really great gift! This horse painting, sorry, stallion painting, is so pretty and the colors are perfect. The final gift in the top 6 was that chic marble dish that only costs $20. Who doesn’t need a beautiful, trend-forward catchall dish?
Ok, next up, Emily’s fashion and beauty guide.
Since we can see what people are buying year-round, I know that most of us are BIG fans of Em’s fashion style. Again, me included. So this was super fun to see and I have a feeling that there was a healthy amount of personal Christmas shopping:)
Oversized Double-Breasted Topcoat | Relaxed Walker Coat | The Tierney Fairisle Mixed Coat
The people wanted coats! That’s at least what the data is saying. Regardless, these three coats were the winners. That black one is as classic as it gets! This puppy will never go out of style. Then that amazing plaid coat that Emily’s been wearing nonstop is pretty freaking incredible. It’s a showstopper yet not “crazy”. The perfect dress-up/dress-down piece that will make any outfit awesome. Lastly, that quilted coat is a perfect causal but chic option! I saw it in person when I was at Anthro last week and boy is it cute. I can’t imagine anyone not being stoked to unwrap this up.
Margarita Jumpsuit | Oval Pendant Necklace | Sunday Riley Go To Bed With Me Gift Set
I think if there’s anyone to trust about a cool jumpsuit recommendation is Emily Henderson which is likely why this one was such a hit! It’s so cool, roomy, and totally effortless. Then for a slightly dressier option, that oval pendant necklace is SO pretty. It feels a little extra unique with the oval shape and is something that you can totally wear every day. Hope anyone who got it (or is gifting it) loved it! Lastly, we have a truly incredible skincare gift set that was quite popular with you readers. Sunday Riley is known for their amazing products so to get something like this, that has everything you need, especially for a skincare novice is the dream. Excellent purchases, y’all;)
It’s time to shift to the boys! I love these real, in-person shopping posts. Plus, Brian and Ken are a killer dynamic duo:) Their ideas were awesome and even helped me with a few dad purchases! Let’s see what you all picked up most…
Sherpa Denim Trucker Jacket | Quilt Lined Cotton Shacket | Midweight Denim Workshirt
Even my dad always says you can’t go wrong with a jean jacket and this one is a very cool one. All of the men who are getting these items are in for a cool style upgrade:) Another go-to gift that is dad and brother approved in my life too are good flannels. I can see why this one was so popular because those colors are great and it’s not too busy. But if you’re guy isn’t a fannel guy then a denim shirt is classic and so cool. Clearly, a lot of you agreed:)
Comfort Blend Boxer Brief 5″ | ABC JoggerRegular | Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Wolf Grey”
Now from the way Ken talked about these boxers I am in no way surprised these were such hot sellers. His exact works were “these are the best ever made”. Case closed, I think. Then Brian said these joggers are comfy which I know is true since his jogger recommendation a few years ago was A HIT with Les Bunge. Many men will be grateful for this gift. And Air Jordans will also be a VERY welcomed gift since they are the classic cool guy shoe that looks great on everyone.
I’m wildly biased but this is my favorite post of any year so when you all say how much you love it too it makes my heart so full! I’ve probably said that a hundred times but it’s true. So while it’s a heartwarming posts it’s always full of practical gifts you all seem to love! Here’s what the top ones from this year.
Soho Pebble Sueded Jacket | The Classic Shirt in Corduroy | The Stretch Twill 5-Pocket Pant
My dad is a cozy connoisseur so when he says something is cushy, it is. Happy to see this great shirt on the list (plus this brand is a favorite in my family). Then I was glad to see my dad’s modeling skills paid off lol. I was there when he bought this corduroy shirt and pants and let’s just say he was feeling himself. The men in your life will feel the same:)
MoriMori Design Lamp with Loudspeaker | Microplane® Pro Serrated & Straight Peelers (Set of 2) | Natural Coir Boot Scraper Door Mat
A nightlight is a great gift for anyone but especially for those who need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night (like my dad). This one is practical AND cute. Plus it’s great for anytime you want a little extra soft mood lighting. Then I’m very curious if this peeler set was more of a self gift for those who bought it:) Heck, I almost got it for myself too! Same goes for that great boot scraper mat. One of those gifts that is so great once you get to use it and stop tracking dirt, mud, and snow into the house.
Ok, let’s move onto the little ones.
The toddler age is such a fun age. They definitely have opinions about what they like but you still have a ton of influence. THE DREAM. So Arlyn put together such a great guide that is absolutely toddler-aprroved. Let’s see what you loved most!
Toniebox Audio Player Starter Set | Micro Kickboard Mini Plus Kick Kids’ Scooter with LED Lights | Toddler Willow Rain Boots
So happy to see the Tonibox on the list! This is truly such a cool gift and an awesome no screen activity. Her daughter is obsessed. Then for the favorite and most durable scooter in the game! What kid doesn’t love a scooter?? Same goes for rainboots! My 3-year-old cousin LOVES his rainboots too. Perfect for nearly any messy occasion:)
Battat Education Bright Explorer Educational Light Box Playset | Magna-Tiles Storage Bin/Playmat | B. toys Running Water Play Sink
But for more indoor activities, all of these are perfect for your toddler! Talk about endless hours of entertainment (which is a parent’s dream, isn’t it??). The Magnatiles storage bin was probably a popular parent purchase though;)
Last but not least is our not so little but not teenager yet gift guide. As I was writing this post I had my 10 and 8 year old cousins look at this list and they approve too!
Toybox 3D Printer | 91pc Go Go Studio Mixed Media Art Set | Air Dry Clay Kit
Even though it’s a pricier, I’m not surprised this 3-D printer was at the top of this. I can’t even image how much fun I would have had making things on this. A very special gift for sure. But also a great art set is also an incredible gift! I love how vast this one is and any art loving kid would be pumped to get this. Same goes for this Hey Clay kit. Em’s kids are obsessed. Love that creativity was the real winner here.
Retro Game Keychain | Boomerang Ball 360°Rotating Hand Controlled Drone Orbit | Pink Cinema Light Box
But look a retro game is also pretty cool and my almost 13 year old cousin agrees. Love getting their input while I’m working:) Basically this keychain will be a slam dunk. Like Em’s kids, the cousins also love this drone orbit! Affordable and they’ll think you’re fun. Lastly is the cinema light box that my 8-year-old put on her Christmas list after seeing this…just saying. All great ideas for your kiddos!
Hope this was a little helpful as you navigate all of the sales this weekend. It’s all so much so as much of a guide as we can be is our goal. Happy shopping and see y’all tomorrow.
Love you, mean it.
