on the 1st floor, woke up to a huge bang around 4am & people talking outside w/ flashlights. looked out of my window and saw that the train (which runs right by this building every night) had crashed and destroyed the fence that barely separates the tracks from all of our ground floor balconies / yards / back doors. there was only a narrow sidewalk between us but it’s completely inaccessible now! the building sits right on a curve in the track which created the worst grating, screeching sounds every time the freight train would pass by in the middle of the night. insane lol submitted by /u/m___a |
