BigCommerce merged with Feedonomics this month. In addition, BC has observed a decrease in revenue this year due to economic conditions. Several colleagues and friends who graduated from UT Austin have been affected with the RIF.
They have released personnel in business development, copyediting, business writing, content management, account sales, and human resources. Contrary to its branding, BigCommerce does not obtain the majority of its revenue from the ecommerce platform. They partner with several corporations to maintain and develop their frontend websites.
