When you think bespoke sofas, I’m sure you think: expensive! But that doesn’t have to be the case these days, and Castlery are leading the charge with a new customisation service. They’ve taken eight of their best-selling collections and made them available in a range of custom options in easy-care, long-wearing premium fabrics.
The new fabrics include machine-washable (music to our ears!), performance, and pet-friendly options, encompassing a range of textures including woven yarns, twill, bouclé and velvet. Among this is a new material – Performance Peyton – a scratch-proof and stain-resistant pet-friendly material with a smooth velvety hand feel.
“Castlery empowers you to create a home that’s uniquely yours,” says co-founder Declan Ee. “Our fabrics are crafted for longevity and are simple to care for. For those with kids or pets, you can rest easy knowing that maintenance is fuss-free. Our goal is to offer customers ultimate control over their sofa and deliver personalised luxury effortlessly.”
Want to create your own sofa? Choose a sofa style, configure your modules, pick a fabric, select a sofa leg, and their expert craftsmen will create it for you. You can simply go online and select up to three fabric swatches to help you decide. If you’re in Sydney, head to the new showroom at Supa Centa Moore Park and their in-store stylist can help.
Adams (which Jen has in her boys’ playroom) is their most customisable collection with 357 possible combinations. Starting from $749 for a custom armchair, you don’t need to bust the budget to make over your space.
With eight collections (Adams, Dawson, Hamilton, Jonathan, Marlow, Owen, Amber, and Solange), up to 15 fabric options and three leg finishes, customers can shop almost endless combinations and enjoy a sofa or armchair that’s crafted just for their home.
