I am in apartments built in 2022. I’m the first person to live in here (I moved in right at opening). I found BLACK MOLD in dining area. My kitchen chair went through floor due to the softness from moist.
What can I do to get out of my lease? (Not up until September of 2025) and to get my deposit back. Do I get a lawyer? Do I sue?
Also; I’ve been sick nonstop for months. Cough/ chest pain. Black mold just came to our knowledge in October and it was a small spot but now has increased.
Any recs appreciated!! I’m at a loss at what to do but I need to move ASAP
