One of America’s most beloved mall brands has been hitting the pavement HARD with designer collabs this year. J.Crew released an incredible summer collection with Maryam Nassir Zadeh, and they’re back again with an early 2024 holiday release with a beloved contemporary American designer with a cult-like following, Christopher John Rogers.

The collection is a gorgeous fusion of J.Crew’s and Christopher John Rogers’ design sensibilities. It has that explosive, imposing, unapologetic color palette that CJR is known for, grounded by the black, navy, and metal tones that always win at J.Crew.

Christopher John Rogers x J.Crew 2024 holiday collection featuring stripes, chiffon, and brushed knitwear.

The collection features 48 pieces, from tailored two-piece sets to brushed knits, duchesse satin to pleated chiffon to sexy red vinyl. J.Crew’s director of womenswear, Olympia Gayot called it high-octane excitement, and I couldn’t agree more. It’s a great collection that wins both in variety, cohesion, and concise editing. It features CJR’s iconic, delicious technicolor stripes too, of course.

Christopher John Rogers is Savannah College of Design alum and a CFDA Award winner. He debuted his first collection in 2018 at age 24.

This stretch viscose blend dress is such a classic CJR piece, you’d be able to know it was him by the colors alone.

If there was one thing I could not leave this collection without, it’s this. The way the stripes and pleats move together has a stunning color and light play.

This gown is a great find if the CJR color palette intimidates you, but you want that amazing silhouette.
