Though it’s Halloween, brands such as Marks & Spencer are already prepped and ready for the holiday season. Today, the British retailer has launched its second collaboration with style icon Sienna Miller to get shoppers ready for parties galore.
Following the success of the debut collection, which launched in June, the British retailer and Sienna Miller have joined forces once again, launching in 41 stores and online today.
Sienna Miller said: “It was an absolute pleasure to be invited back by the M&S team. I loved working on the debut collection and couldn’t wait to do it all over again. This second collection is very much a party edit for the festive season. It’s got tailoring, faux fur, party dresses, statement prints, embellishment, coordinating accessories and also my favourite jeans from the first collection, in two new washes.
“Seeing my designs in the real world is so rewarding. I love how each individual wears and styles them and I can’t wait to see their reaction to round 2 this winter!
Inspired by Sienna Miller’s archival wardrobe and the timeless style she’s known for, the collection is made up of 35 party-ready pieces. From statement prints to heavy embellishments and cosy faux furs, each piece oozes vintage glamour designed for day-to-night dressing.
Miller said that her favourite piece from the collection is the lace-trim silk maxi dress, reminiscent of pre-loved vintage designs she rummages through amongst the stalls of Portobello Market. Other key pieces include on-trend barrel-leg jeans and a David Bowie-inspired faux fur jacket, featuring buckles inspired by her noughties pirate boots.
Maddy Evans, M&S Womenswear Director, added: “Following the success of the first collection, we were delighted to welcome Sienna back. The lead-up to Christmas is an exciting time of year for customers and from festive celebrations to winter weddings, we know they are looking for stylish outfitting options, underpinned by quality and value, to really wow their friends and family.
“Sienna’s personal style resonates so well with the nation and this collection delivers an elevated and premium party collection – designed by a British style icon known for her red-carpet style.”
