The London-based concept store Machine-A, known for stocking and supporting emerging fashion talent, has exited Tomorrow Group with the backing of a group of private investors.
Steven Ma, an accessories designer who has worked with Machine-A since 2019, has been named the director of the company and aims to hone the retailer’s approach to China. Founder Stavros Karelis will continue to be involved in the business.
The move comes just weeks after Tomorrow Group sold A-Cold-Wall, founded by designer Samuel Ross, to a distribution company backed by Fraser’s group.
