TXT Reveal a New Side of Themselves With Latest Mini Album ‘The Star Chapter: Sanctuary’

It’s the start of a new era for K-pop boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER, who have gone through several genre jumps since their debut. Now, the Gen Z It-boys and music sensation have returned with the next chapter of their musical evolution, with the release of their seventh mini album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY. Captured here as part of their ‘SAVIOR’ concept from The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, which drew inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairytale The Snow Queen, the ‘SAVIOR’ concept unfolds in the form of a captivating novel that taps into the power of love that thaws a frozen heart.

As a follow to their most recent album, minisode 3: TOMORROW, which just so happened to debut at #3 on the Billboard 200, thus making TXT the second K-pop artists ever to enter the chart 10 times, only behind BTS, members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai have proven their dynamic musical qualities once again with this latest release. With a blend of R&B-style pop with energetic rhythms that house dreamy melodies and lyrical play, the TXT sound evolved further into the sonic embodiment of a never-ending, dream-like honeymoon phase.

Smooth, easygoing beats and vocals recall the feeling of finding true love and happiness. The opening track “Heaven” (written by Soobin, Yeonjun, and Taehyun), shimmers with the innocence and magic of falling in love for the very first time. The album’s lead single, “Over The Moon” is a bouncy pop song with unexpectedly mature lyrics about envisioning a future with a significant other.

Notably, every member of TXT contributed to the songwriting process: Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Taehyun are credited with writing “Danger,” while “Resist (Not Gonna Run Away)” was written by Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai. Taehyun took charge with writing “Higher than Heaven.”
