Leave it to Scarlett Johannson and Colin Jost to serve the red carpet chic together. On Thursday, the couple went on a rare date night at The American Museum of Natural History’s 2024 Museum Gala. Johansson and Jost rarely appear on the red carpet together, but when they do, they make sure to create a memorable high fashion moment. In true couple fashion, they coordinated their outfits to wear an all-black ensemble and held hands while posing for the cameras.
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost opt for all-black fits for NYC gala
On December 5, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost attended the 2024 Museum Gala held at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. The husband and wife duo opted for all-black fits that were fit for the elegant occasion. Johansson wore a sleeveless long gown featuring a plunging V-neckline and an A-line bodice. Moreover, the gown maintained a balance between practicality and style with its inclusion of a deep pocket over a classy structure. The actor posed for cameras with one hand inside the pocket, showcasing the significance of utilitarian fashion for women in formal events.
Johannson went with minimal but enough accessories to elevate the monochromatic fit. She wore a two-tier beaded choker with a black pendant and golden dangling earrings. The actor opted for a glowy glam, including a red lip and blush and contour that accentuated her cheekbones. She styled her hair into a sleek bun and wore black pointed-toe heels. Meanwhile, her husband, Jost, donned a dapper black suit over a white T-shirt with a string of black buttons. He paired it with a stylish and matching bow and shoes. The SNL star added a trendy watch to complete the chic ensemble.
The last time the power couple attended a red carpet event was when Jost accompanied his wife to the premiere of her movie “Fly Me to the Moon” in July. Johannson wore a custom Prada top and skirt while her husband donned a Prada suit over a light blue T-shirt. Meanwhile, the duo also attended last year’s Museum Gala where they coordinated in white and black ensembles.
