Finally, after many years of millennials waiting for Juicy Couture to return to physical retail in the UK, it’s back. The US-based brand, credited for supplying 2000s teens and adults with their uniform of velour tracksuits and towelling handbags, is opening up shop at Westfield Stratford City.
After closing up shop in 2017, Juicy is making its grand return to the UK high street seven years later. Once again, it’s time to ‘Choose Juicy’.
The new store blends iconic elements from previous Juicy Couture stores, including slogans, graffiti-inspired artwork and neon lighting – and bursts of blank and pink, of course. Standout features include a metallic runway and a pink boudoir.
In addition to the latest Juicy Couture styles, the store will also showcase the holiday campaign and collection, Once Upon a Time. This collection fuses “Juicy’s early 2000s IT girl aesthetic with whimsical fairytale charm”. Fronted by Cindy Kimberly, the campaign showcases the holiday collection from tracksuits to intimates.
Rajiv Batra, Batra Group Director, Juicy Couture’s license holder for the UK and Europe, said: “Spanning more than two decades, Juicy Couture’s enduring legacy has gained the brand a loyal following throughout the world, and we can’t wait to bring the physical shopping experience to life for fans in London.
“This new space presents a modern take on Juicy Couture’s eclectic previous store concepts and perfectly encapsulates the brand’s unique approach to fun and casual glamour. Our fan base has always been devoted, and we’re delighted to be providing shoppers an in-person experience throughout the holiday season and beyond.”
