Beyoncé Reacts To Jay-Z Rape Accusations

Jay-Z‘s rape allegations shook the world after he was named with Diddy in an existing lawsuit. Many fans want to know how Beyoncé reacted to the news, and what her next steps are.

In a lawsuit filed in a New York federal court, it claimed that Jane Doe, when she was 13 years old, was raped by Diddy, and listed two unnamed celebrities. On December 7, 2024, lawyer Tony Buzbee refiled the case to include Jay-Z’s name as one of the defendants.

In a statement written through his company Roc Nation’s X account, Jay-Z denied the accusations of sexual abuse, calling the allegations “idiotic.” “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?” Carter said in a statement. “These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.”

How did Beyoncé react to Jay-Z’s accusations?

Beyoncé is supportive of Jay-Z as he’s responding to the rape allegations, “She’s sticking by Jay, as evidenced by last night’s family outing,” a source told Page Six after the Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and their daughter Blue Ivy appeared on the red carpet premiere of Mufasa. As for how it would affect their marriage, the Cowboy Carter artists “has no intention of leaving Jay-Z,” according to a second insider to the site, noting that Beyoncé “wholeheartedly believes him” and is “supporting him throughout.”

“[The Carters are] a team and will face this situation together,” the source said. Beyoncé, who’s set to headline the Christmas half-time show at the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium in Texas, “has no intention of canceling” her show amid the legal woes. “Rehearsals have been and continue to be underway,” the source confirmed.

In his statement, the “Empire State of Mind” rapper mentioned the impact of the case on his family. “My only heartbreak is for my family,” he wrote. “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”

He concluded the statement, “You have made a terrible judgment thinking that all ‘celebrities are the same. I’m not from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn. WE don’t play this games. We have very strict codes and honor. We protect children, you seem to exploit people for your personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, we believe your idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable. I look forward to showing you how different I am.”
