Harley's Firewood is closing (Jan at latest)

Spoke with him today while picking up wood. Said he was 79 and wanted to do some hunting.

I got the impression that the cold seasons fluctuating so much has made it a hassle to keep men on to help. He said last November he couldn’t keep it in stock but this year he’s got $25,000 in wood just sitting on the lot.

He’ll sell the 6 or 8 trailer loads he’s got down in Giddings and that’ll be it. He thinks January at the latest
