My goal with this thread itself is to be as explicit and thorough as possible, documenting my journey with both photos and cost/time breakdowns. (please note that I am Australian, and will be pricing everything in AUD) (basically suck it up if you’re
The plan is to 3D print the armour, with the possibility of foam working the smaller parts as I still have 3 sheets of differing thickness from my last plans.
Over the past few weeks I have compiled threads, reference images, links to clothes to buy, and anything else needed for this cosplay journey.
THREADS
Dagger06 ‘s thread will be the main reference thread, as they’ve done such a detailed report of their journey and provided pictures along the way.
Photo by PostConBlues So after a long absence, I’ve decided to return to the world of Halo costuming. A combination of meeting some local Halo cosplayers as well as Halo: Outpost Discovery reignited my interest. I debated between doing Vale or the Halo 2 ODST, but after various commitments…

SpartanSweed ‘s thread will be the secondary reference thread, due to his awesome deployment photos, and his 3D printed journey.

These boots will suffice, as they’re comfortable and don’t need to be too accurate as the shin armour covers alot of it.
Other items include straps, pouches, and materials that I will include in their relevant sections when purchased.
My deadline for this project is to be finished before April 2025, as I’ll head up to the Gold Coast for Supanova and meet some of the 405th!
Once the build is completed, I will come back to all thread messages and clean up.
