No7 Pro Artist Review: Is Boots No7’s Luxury Makeup Line Worth The Hype?

Shade: Taupe Blush

No7 beauty products have been a staple in my makeup bag for the past 10 years and the formulas have yet to let me down. That said, I’ve never tried one of the brand’s blushes before, so I was intrigued to see how the No7 Pro Artist Luxe Liquid Blush would perform.

Recent powder blushes have left me with a cakey final result when worn on top of my non-negotiable daily bronzer, so where I can I’ll always opt for a liquid blush. First impressions: I loved the simple yet sleek design of the bottle itself and soft rounded brush, which made for easy application.

The pigment is impressive, so I really appreciated the soft, buttery texture, which made blending out any excess a breeze. A few small dots went a long way and the colour itself came out as a beautiful, soft, pinky flush with a part dewy, part matte final effect. It’s safe to say that this blush will definitely be making its way into my regular rotation!

Product: No7 Pro Artist Matte Muse Lipstick

Shade: Rose Couture

Out of all the makeup products out there, I’m the pickiest when it comes to lip products. Naturally, when the new No7 Matte Muse Lipstick landed on my desk, I was intrigued. I opted for the shade Rose Couture, which is a stunning mauve-y nude that I could easily pair with any makeup look – be it a full glam moment or the usual everyday “clean girl” vibe.

Despite the matte finish, I found that the formula didn’t feel too drying on the lips. Quite the opposite, as it glides on like butter upon application. I also loved the pigment, which lasted a whole day and survived until dinner (something not all bullet lipsticks can do).

It also scored some extra bonus points for its affordable price, making it an even more welcome addition to my makeup arsenal.
