Anna Quan’s Black Friday sale has just kicked off so I’m frantically smashing out this blog post in my lunch break to share with you my top picks from the sale. In my eyes, Anna Quan can do no wrong and if you’ve been eyeing pieces from her collection, now is your time to shine. If you’ve yet to experience the magic of an Anna Quan piece you can expect everyday wardrobe made beautifully – whether it’s the exquisite tailoring, luxurious fabrics and subtle details. Her pieces are so sophisticated that I’ve loved integrating them into my work wardrobe.
I’ve trawled through all of the sale pages and curated my edit of the best of the sale below. I may or may not have already purchased 3 things in the process…
Isla Dress
Was $595, now $300
Let’s kick things off with a style that is one of the label’s signature dresses. I bought the new season Isla Dress a couple of weeks ago in the Calico colourway and now this grey version is on major sale! Bah! Sizing wise, I stuck with my usual size, an AU 8, and it fits me well. Despite only being 158cm, the dress looks great with a pair of low heels.
Juliana Dress
Was $595, now $280
Here’s another drop-waist number being another signature dress design by the label in an old season colour. Despite being ‘old’, the colour palette is still classic and the dress is chic and minimal – far from the trend-led pieces we’re seeing around.
Claudia Dress
Was $550, now $420
Now let’s talk about the pieces in my wardrobe that have now been discounted. This mixed media dress is so stylish and incredibly well made. I proudly strutted around Japan in this dress and felt amazing in it. Sizing wise, I wear a size AU 8.
Chloe Dress
Was $390, now $290
If you want a little black dress that can do it all, this cotton knit dress should be at the top of your list. This dress captures everything that makes the label shine – an everyday wardrobe staple made incredibly well. The fabric is premium and has been made to last while at the same time being easy care. I’ve worn this to work as well as on my travels. Size wise, I wear a size AU 8.
Bailey Top
Was $550, now $430
I’m certain you’ll recognise this top if you’ve been following me over on Instagram. This butter yellow shade has been such a joyful piece to wear. Depending on how you want to wear the colour, you’ve got several options as the fabric has also been made into a sleeveless dress and tailored trousers (both of which are on sale). Size wise, I wear a size AU 6 in the vest.
Arabella Dress
Was $680, now $250
For a lighter version of the Isla Dress I featured above, the Arabella Dress is cut to the same silhouette but offered in a lightweight fabrication. This dress is heavily discounted and at the time I’m typing this, still available in a full size range, but I suspect that won’t be the case shortly. I ended up buying this one and stuck with my usual size, an AU 8. I can’t wait to wear this one!
Zuri Top
Was $350, now $100
Here’s another heavily discounted top that I snapped up a few moments ago. It’s that same ruched and high-neck design of the Isla and Arabella dresses I’m in love with. I can picture myself styling this with a pair of tailored white trousers for the office as well as with jeans for off-duty.
Delfina Dress
Was $950, now $390
Finally, I wanted to end with a showstopping number. I’ve seen this dress many times worn by some of my favourite creators. If you’ve got a formal or black tie event to attend, this is an excellent option!
