As a fashion writer who’s been navigating the sales field for over half a decade, I can safely say this year has some of the best Black Friday clothing deals I’ve ever seen – and it’s not even the 29th November yet.
Often, brands will only reduce their collections slightly or re-push items that were already on sale, but this November I’m already seeing discounts of up to 80% off, and some with extra codes to add on top. I told you it’s good.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a great excuse to hit the shops, virtual and IRL. You may see it as your last opportunity to save some money on the best Christmas gifts, which it definitely is, but it’s also prime time to treat yourself and refresh your wardrobe with some new-in-but-discounted pieces that you might not have invested in otherwise.
Struggling to decipher the good deals from the less-so? Don’t worry. I’ve taken it upon myself to highlight the pieces that are worth a second glance AND that will last for years to come. So, whether you’ve been swooning over a winter coat or pair of winter boots that are just a tad over budget, pondering on when to start your Christmas shopping, or you’re keen to elevate your knitwear collection with some timeless turtlenecks, the time to strike is now.
PSA: It goes without saying that we’re still a few weeks away from Cyber Weekend itself, so keep in mind that the brands below largely reference what deals were available last year (unless stated otherwise) and will be updated as and when they’re revealed. So you’ll be the first to know them all, promise.

The question on everyone’s lips: when is Black Friday this year? Black Friday 2024 falls on Friday 29th November, with Cyber Monday following on (shock) Monday 2nd December.

Black Friday is the biggest shopping event of the year. It originated in America and first came to the UK back in 2010. Over the course of the past ten years it has grown exponentially, and you can now grab a discount (or three) from a whole plethora of fashion brands. A thrifty way of getting your Christmas shopping done before December hits, or elevating your collection of timeless wardrobe staples. Cyber Monday is the Monday that follows Black Friday (funny that), and often marks the last day of sales for a lot of brands.
The likes of Net-A-Porter, Farfetch, H&M and ASOS all take part in Black Friday and Cyber Monday, offering flash sales, discounts and deals on their best products. So it’s a great opportunity for those who are into fashion to save money.
