Mejuri’s Black Friday Sale Includes Taylor Swift’s Favourite Ring

Mejuri’s Black Friday sale is one I look forward to every year as it’s the only time the brand marks anything down. For Black Friday 2024? The deal is 25% off when you spend £100 or more, and, given the fact that most of their bestsellers are around/over that price point, it’s an absolute must-see.

If you’ve got your eyes on some fresh new baubles — like the popular Diamond Letter Charm that makes an excellent personalised gift, the new-in Stevie Hoops that elevate any look and come in this season’s hottest colour (Oxblood), and the Patra earrings Selena Gomez wears on repeat — this is the time to take advantage.

Still feeling torn? If you’re a Swiftie you’ll already know that Mejuri is Taylor’s favourite jewellery brand; she’s constantly spotted wearing the Heirloom Ring (seen below). T-Swiz and I have that in common, as I can’t stop wearing the brand’s Signet Ring myself. And, you probably guessed it, both are included in the Mejuri Black Friday sale.

Wait, haven’t I seen Mejuri on celebrities?

Mejuri is a celebrity-loved brand, and it seems to get more and more popular every year. We’ve spotted Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Meghan Markle, Lucy Hale, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo wearing Mejuri jewelry. Gomez wore the large Mejuri Patra hoop earrings (in silver) several times while in Paris this year. Ariana Grande wore a handful of Mejuri pearl earrings at Wimbledon, Hailey Bieber wore the Charlotte Bold Hoops to Coachella, and Meghan Markle recently wore the Charlotte Bold Ring to Variety’s Power of Women gala. It’s safe to say the stars approve, and with these best Black Friday deals, we can shop all their favourite picks at a discount.

Does Mejuri 14-karat gold tarnish?

The brand’s 14-karat gold can be worn everyday without tarnishing, but it’s more susceptible to scratching than the 18-karat gold. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take extra steps to properly care for your gold, though. An occasional polish, a wash with soap and warm water, and making sure to store the jewellery in a dry place when not worn will ensure that it’ll last. For extra care, Mejuri has a cleaning kit you can purchase for £18. If you’re someone who absolutely never takes off your gold jewellery, you might want to choose solid gold or gold vermeil. Mejuri’s vermeil pieces use a much thicker layer of 18-karat solid gold over sterling silver.

Can you shower with Mejuri on?

Different types of Mejuri jewellery will require different care. When it comes to 14-karat gold jewellery you can technically shower with it, but it’s recommended you don’t do it often. The absolute best way to take care of your 14-karat gold is to take it off before you hop in the shower. Sterling silver will also oxidise, so you should remove that too. Keep in mind that you should try to apply perfumes, creams, and hair-care products before wearing your Mejuri pieces as well.
