Brazilian womenswear brand, Farm Rio, has opened its second London store in the heart of London’s Marylebone Village at 26 Marylebone High Street, adding to the King’s Road store it opened in January.
Designed by architect Renata Gaia, in collaboration with the brand’s creative team, the new space continues the storytelling approach seen at the King’s Road location, bringing the lush beauty of Brazil’s fauna and flora to life.
Spanning 1,636 sq ft across two floors, the store houses 140 styles – including its latest AW24 dresses, sweaters, tops and puffer jackets – illuminated by two skylights that create a bright, inviting atmosphere.
A new colourful holiday capsule collection and ski collection are also being launched in-store on 12 December.
Katia Barros, Founder and Creative Director of Farm Rio, said: “I’m so excited about the opening of our second location in London. This city holds a special place in our hearts – it was where we opened our very first store in Europe.
“With our new space in Marylebone, we hope to welcome new customers from this wonderful community and get even closer to those who already know and love our brand.”
The intricate details of the new store begin at the entrance, where Maqueson da Silva’s intricate marquetry work sets the tone – seamlessly blending with the lovingly preserved original flooring.
As with past projects, Farm Rio has brought together some of its favourite collaborators, “ensuring every detail feels personal and meaningful”.
French artist Dominique Jardy’s delicate watercolour paintings “transform the walls into a tropical dreamscape”, while New York-based Honduran artist Rosalila contributes with a sculptural mirror crafted from natural palm fibres.
English artists Carlie Allan and Daniel Bland add the finishing touches with hand-painted golden accents on the window, back door, and arch – blending Farm Rio’s signature prints with a classic European aesthetic.
The store also features bronze sculptures created by artist Walmor Corrêa exclusively for Farm Rio, which sees a trio of hummingbirds adorn the wall. At the same time, a weaver bird floats gracefully above the store.
As well as the latest store opening, Farm Rio has also launched a new space at Harvey Nichols, “bringing its immersive shopping experience to another iconic department store”.
